How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Process your subscription and billing
• Analyze the estimates you upload and return GuideCoat reports to you
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
• Send you product updates and information about our services (you can unsubscribe at any time)

Estimate Data Handling

We treat the estimates you upload to GuideCoat with the same caution we would want for our own work. Three explicit commitments:

• No retention after analysis. Estimates you upload are processed, analyzed, and the resulting GuideCoat report is returned to you. We do not retain the underlying uploaded estimate documents after analysis is complete. Your data passes through, gets analyzed, and is discarded.
• No model training on your data. We do not use your uploaded estimates to train AI models. Our AI providers do not train their models on your uploaded estimates either. The data exists for one purpose: producing your report.
• Aggregate analytics only. We track aggregate usage metrics (number of estimates analyzed, types of operations flagged, citation categories surfaced) for product improvement purposes. These metrics never tie back to individual estimates or individual shops.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
